Jodi family chart (all 15 families)

Updated: 2026-10-24

In Satta Matka, every jodi (00–99) belongs to a family – a small group of jodis linked by the cut of each digit. This page explains the rule, lists all 15 families, and explains two other common terms: half sangam and full sangam.

The cut rule

Each digit has a cut (also called its pair): 0↔5, 1↔6, 2↔7, 3↔8, 4↔9 – in other words, add 5 and keep the last digit. The family of a jodi is every jodi you can make by replacing either digit with its cut, in both orders.

Example – jodi 12: the cut of 1 is 6, the cut of 2 is 7. Combining {1, 6} with {2, 7} in both orders gives 12, 17, 21, 26, 62, 67, 71, 76 – that is the family of 12.

Doubles and cut-pairs make smaller families of 4: for example 00, 05, 50, 55. That is why 00–99 splits into exactly 15 families: 10 families of 8 and 5 families of 4 (10 × 8 + 5 × 4 = 100).

What is half sangam and full sangam?

A full result like 159-58-170 has an open panna (159), a jodi (58) and a close panna (170). 'Sangam' terms combine a panna with the other half of the result:

You can check any past half or full sangam in the Kalyan panel chart, which shows both pannas for every day.

Do families or sangams help predict results?

No. A family is only a way of grouping numbers. Every draw is independent, and every ank has the same 22 pannas behind it (see the panna chart). We tested popular formulas on 1,216 real Kalyan results – they did no better than chance: Kalyan trick tested.
