How to read a jodi chart and a panel chart

Updated: 2026-10-24

Jodi and panel charts are the record books of Satta Matka – every result of a market, week by week. Once you know the layout, you can check any past result in seconds. This guide uses our Kalyan jodi chart and Kalyan panel chart as examples.

First, the three parts of a result

A full result such as 159-58-170 has: the open panna 159 (1+5+9 = 15 → open ank 5), the jodi 58 (open ank + close ank) and the close panna 170 (1+7+0 = 8 → close ank 8). More on this in the panna chart guide.

Reading a jodi chart

  1. Each row is one week, Monday to Sunday. The date range of the week is in the first column.
  2. Each cell is one day's jodi – the two-digit number only.
  3. Two stars (**) mean there was no result that day (holiday, or the market does not run on that day – Kalyan, for example, is closed on Sunday).
  4. Red jodis are doubles (00, 11, 22 … 99) – just highlighted to make them easy to spot.
  5. On MatkaPulse the newest week is on top; tap any jodi to highlight every other time it came.

Reading a panel chart

  1. Same layout – one row per week, Monday to Sunday.
  2. Each cell has three parts: the open panna on top, the jodi in the middle and the close panna below.
  3. Three stars (***) in place of a panna mean it was not declared that day.
  4. Use it when you need the full result, e.g. to check a half sangam or full sangam (see the jodi family guide).

What does 'cut' mean?

Every digit has a cut: add 5 and keep the last digit – 0↔5, 1↔6, 2↔7, 3↔8, 4↔9. The cut of jodi 12 is 67 (1→6, 2→7). Cut digits are how jodi families are built.

What is a 'cut panna'?

A cut panna replaces each digit of a panna with its cut, then writes the digits in matka order (rising, with 0 counted as the highest). Example: panna 128 → 6, 7, 3 → written as 367. Panna 140 → 6, 9, 5 → 569. The ank changes too: 128 gives ank 1, its cut 367 gives ank 6 – always the cut of the original ank.

What a chart cannot tell you

A chart is a record of what already happened. Every draw is independent, so patterns you seem to see are coincidence – we tested popular chart 'tricks' on 1,216 Kalyan results and none beat chance: Kalyan trick tested.
